Connecticut's Coolest Winter Attraction is Back!
Operation Fuel’s Ice House presented by Eversource Energy is an annual event that will again take place on the grounds of the historic Old State House in Hartford. The centerpiece is a spectacular structure made entirely of 40,000 pounds of hand-carved blocks of ice complete with ice furnishings and NEW FOR 2020: an attached Ice Garage and a Thermal Imaging Body Heat Photo Booth!
The public is invited to tour and spend some time “chilling out” in the Ice House on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. Our hope is to raise awareness of just how cold the New England winter can be without the basic necessity of a warm shelter.

About Operation Fuel's Ice House Event
Anyone is welcome to visit the Ice House. Donations collected during this event will provide assistance for the thousands of Connecticut households who are struggling to pay their energy bills.
